Privacy Policy
experTribe LLC (“experTribe,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and safeguard information when you visit expertribe.com, contact us, attend our training, or engage our consulting services.
This policy covers experTribe’s website and services. Our product, GranTribe, has its own privacy policy at grantribe.com/privacy. If you use GranTribe, that policy governs your use of the platform.
1. Information We Collect

- Your name, email address, phone number and organization when you schedule a conversation, contact us, or subscribe to Compass Notes
- Information you share with us during a consulting engagement, including documents, system access details and organizational context necessary to do the work
- Material you bring into an AI training session, including business documents, prompts and live work you choose to use as examples
- Feedback and support communications
Information we collect automatically
- Standard web server logs, including IP address, browser type and pages visited
We do not use analytics software, tracking pixels or behavioral advertising on our website.
Information from third parties
We do not purchase or acquire personal data from data brokers or third-party sources.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To respond to your inquiries and schedule conversations
- To deliver consulting engagements and AI training
- To send Compass Notes and occasional updates, which you can opt out of at any time
- To improve our website and our services
- To meet legal and accounting obligations
We do not sell, trade or rent your personal information to anyone.
3. Training Material and Client Work
Two commitments matter more than anything else in this policy.
What you bring to a training session stays yours. Participants regularly work on real business problems using their own documents and data. We do not retain that material after the session, we do not use it as an example in other sessions without your written permission, and we do not use it to develop our own products.
What we learn inside a consulting engagement stays inside it. Client systems, data, processes and internal information are treated as confidential. We do not use one client’s information to serve another, and we do not reference client work publicly without permission. Where we publish a case study, it is either anonymized or published with the client’s approval.
4. Artificial Intelligence
We use AI tools in the course of our own work, including when building systems and preparing material. Where a client engagement involves sending client information to a third-party AI provider, we tell you before it happens and agree the boundaries with you.
We do not use client content or training material to train AI models, our own or anyone else’s.
5. Information Sharing
We may share limited information with:
- Service providers who help us operate, including scheduling, email delivery and cloud hosting, each of whom may only use it to provide their service to us
- Professional advisors such as lawyers and accountants
- Law enforcement or regulatory agencies where required by law
A list of our current service providers is available on request at info@expertribe.com.
6. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted transmission and storage and access controls limiting who can see what.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. If you believe your information has been compromised, contact us immediately at info@expertribe.com.
7. Data Retention
We keep contact and engagement records for as long as we have an active relationship with you and for as long afterwards as we need for legal, tax and accounting purposes, which is generally seven years for financial records.
Compass Notes subscriber details are kept until you unsubscribe.
Training material you bring into a session is not retained after the session ends.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of anything inaccurate
- Request deletion of your personal information, subject to the retention periods above
- Object to or restrict how we process your information
- Request a copy of your information in a portable format
- Opt out of marketing communications at any time
If you are in a jurisdiction with specific privacy rights, including the European Union under the GDPR, the United Kingdom, or a US state with a comprehensive privacy law, those rights apply and we will honour them.
To exercise any of these rights, contact info@expertribe.com. We will respond within 30 days.
9. Cookies
Our website does not use cookies. We do not set cookies for analytics, advertising or tracking, and nothing on the site stores data in your browser.
10. Children’s Privacy
Our services are directed at organizations and businesses and are not intended for anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
11. International Transfers
experTribe is based in the United States and information you provide is processed there. If you are contacting us from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the Last Updated date above. Where a change is material, we will tell you directly if we hold your contact details.
